► Reunited riot grrrl/queercore pioneers Team Dresch, back with “your Hands My Pockets” (their first new single in 19 years), do a sold-out show at the bootleg Theater, joined by French Vanilla and Sister Mantos. (And Allison Wolfe DJs.)
► Austin’s …And You Will Know Us By the Trail of Dead, on youring marking the 20th anniversary (and re-release) of “Madonna,” play a sold-out show at the Echo, with Death Valley Girls and Goon supporting.
► Psychedelic jazz brother duo Mattson 2 play the Lodge Room in support of their new album “Paradise,” with Brainstory opening.
Jamestown Revival does the last of this week’s three sold-out show at the Troubadour, with Ian Noe opening.
► Chicago singer-songwriter Jamila Woods headlines the El Rey Theater in support of her new album “LEGACY! LEGACY!,” with Duendita supporting.
► And ’70s pop greats America celebrate their 50th anniversary, not too far from “Ventura Highway.” They’re at the Theatre at Ace Hotel.
