On the longest night of the year, …And You Will Know Us By The Trail Of Dead brought their “20 Years of Madonna” tour to the Echo, celebrating the 1999 release of their sophomore album “Madonna” in front of sold-out crowd of longtime fans.

For the main set, the band roared through “Madonna” in order. They followed with an encore of a handful of songs from their ensuing two albums, “Source Tags & Codes” and “Worlds Apart.”

They were preceded by Death Valley Girls, whose frontwoman Bonnie Bloomgarden, in a baby doll dress, shredded and spazzed out to the delight of the crowd. Goon opened the night with the band adding frontman Kenny Becker’s fianceé Emily Elkin on cello and Kaitlin Wolfberg on violin.

Trail of Dead setlist: Mistakes & Regrets, Totally Natural, Clair de Lune, Flood of Red, Mark David Chapman, Aged Dolls, A Perfect Teenhood, Sigh Your Children. Encore: It Was There That I Saw You, Another Morning Stoner, Relative Ways.
