L.A. concerts for Monday:

► Long-running folk-punk collective The Mekons headline the Lodge Room behind their new album “Deserted,” with Skokie Girls opening.
► With some new music in the works, Gardens & Villa play the Morocan Lounge, with Alex Siegel supporting.
► Grammy-nominated BJ the Chicago Kid heads up the lineup at It’s a School Night at Bardot, joined by Mills., Patrick Martin and Quinn Lewis.
► London’s Cosmo Sheldrake visits the Echo behind his new album “The Much Much How How and I,” joined by Odetta Hartman.
The Sun Ra Arkestra (under the direction of Marshall Allen) do the first of two nights at Zebulon.
► And Junaco celebrate the release of their EP “Awry” with a free show at the Hi Hat, joined by Dario Bronco.
