Allah Las’ new album “LAHS” comes out Oct. 11, and there could hardly be a better soundtrack for the time summer fades to fall and you cling to the fond memory of a vacation pilgrimage to somewhere picturesque. Drummer Matt Correia, in fact, calls the album “a sort of audio postcard to anyone who wants to listen.”

The latest single is “Prazer Em Te Conhecer” (“nice to meet you” in Portuguese), with Correira’s gentle croon in front of guitar lick with a serious case of wanderlust. The band’s own announcement likens it to “George Harrison while also sounding like a rare 45 from a Brazilian flea market.”

The album is the fourth from the quartet — Correia, along with bassist Spencer Dunham and guitarists Miles Michaud and Pedrum Siadatian — and it was made in the band’s own L.A. studio with an assist from producer/engineer Jarvis Taveniere.
