Desert Daze full lineup and set times announced

Desert Daze has unveiled its full festival weekend lineup for Oct. 11-13 at Moreno Beach in Lake Perris, with extended 90-minute to two-hour sets by Devo (kicking off “The Beginning of the End”), Wu-Tang Clan (including their album “Enter the Wu-Tang [36 Chambers]”), the Flaming Lips (including a 20th anniversary performance of “The Soft Bulletin”) and Ween (including a 25th anniversary performance of “Chocolate & Cheese”). Additional sets are also featured on Friday by: Stereolab, Animal Collective and DIIV (the only Southern California appearance on the latter’s latest tour); Saturday by: Flying Lotus, the Locust, Viagra Boys and Pussy Riot; and Sunday by: Khruangbin, the Claypool Lennon Delirium, the Black Angels, ALVVAYS and Moses Sumney.

Friday’s schedule includes a screening of the documentary “We Intend To Cause Havoc” plus a Q&A with Zambian rock band Witch’s frontman Emmanuel Jagari Chanda. Sunday’s closing day festivities include a Q&A with Les Claypool and Sean Lennon.

Entry to the festival has been improved with only parking credentials needed for park entrances, early Thursday entry for campers and two available entrances (on both Via Del Lago and Lake Perris Drive) open to all attendees.

Single-day passes, weekend passes, enhanced VIP “Azurite” add-ons, tent and RV rentals, camping and parking passes are now all available at: desertdaze.org.
