► The iconic Gary Numan headlines Night 1 of Substance at the Los Angeles Theater. ADULT., Xeno & Oaklander and Kanga round out the lineup.
► The Growlers are back at it for a second night of Beach Goth Halloween at the Hollywood Palladium.
► TR/ST headlines the Novo, joined by SRSQ and Saro.
► Twenty One Pilots, winding down their “The Bandito Tour” in support of their 2018 album “Trench,” play Staples Center, with MisterWives supporting.
► With her new album “Champion” out next week, Bishop Briggs headlines the Wiltern, with Miya Folick and Jax Anderson supporting.
► Canadian psych-rockers Black Mountain headline the Teragram Ballroom behind their new album “Destroyer,” with Ryley Walker opening.
► And the Selena for Sanctuary event brings an all-female lineup of Empress Of, San Cha, Loyal Lobos, August Eve, Maya Murillo, Selenamos and more to Grand Park. It’s free and kicks off at 7 p.m.
