► Bloc Party is back at the Hollywood Palladium for a second night, performing their album “Silent Alarm.” LPX opens.
► Mexican songstress Ximena Sariñana headlines the El Rey Theatre in support of her latest album “Donde Bailaran Las Niñas,” with Mylko supporting.
► With the album “Exit” releasing Friday, Scarypoolparty (the vehicle for Alejandro Aranda of “American Idol” fame) does the first of two sold-out nights at the Belasco Theater. Twin Shadow opens both shows.
► Madonna is back for another night at the Wiltern,.
► María Del Pilar visits the Hi Hat for KCRW DJ José Galván’s November installment of the Chido Chevere Cool series, supporting “Songs + Canciones II,” the album she released early this year. Los Retros, Twin Seas and Chrisol open.
► Devon Welsh (of Majical Cloudz) headlines the Bootleg Theater in support of his recently released sophomore album “True Love,” with Sorry Girls supporting.
► Saro headlines a show at the Satellite, joined by Lulu Simon, Misty Mtn and Chaz Cardigan.
