► Tune-Yards and Vieux Farka Touré team up for a night at Walt Disney Concert Hall.
► Tijuana native Vanessa Zamora and L.A.-based Colombian Loyal Lobos head up the lineup at the Paramount, joined by Estereomance.
► Trumpeter-composer Dan Rosenboom, backed by a six-piece band, a dancer and video and art installations, celebrates the release of his album “Absurd in the Anthropocene” with a night at the Barnsdall Gallery Theatre.
► With his new album “Bone Structure” on the way in early March, Ron Pope headlines the Teragram Ballroom, joined by Caroline Spence.
► Atlanta rockers Mattiel visit the Bootleg Theater in support of their new album “Satis Factory,” with Calvin Love supporting.
► ZOOLUXX, who today released their double EP “Justa Little Bit” and “The Ghetto Starship,” and 7 Come 11, who today released the new single “The Moon,” celebrate with a show at the Moroccan Lounge. Speed Walton opens the night.
► The Grand Ole Echo’s Winter Dance Party brings Elijah Ocean & the Countrysiders, Brian Whelan & the Rockin’ Roachas and Blue Rose Rounders to the Echoplex for a $5 night of fun.
► She Wants Revenge does the second of three nights at the Roxy — get there early for the reunion show by Campfire Girls.
