The performance by South African vocal harmony group Ladysmith Black Mambazo at UCLA’s Royce Hall, originally scheduled for Thursday, has been postponed until March 19 because of the passing of the group’s founder, Joseph Shabalala.

Shabalala died last week in Pretoria after an extended illness at age 78. Services and tributes were held this past weekend. Shabalala had stepped down from leading the five-time Grammy Award-winning group in 2008, passing the baton to Thamsanqa Shabalala, the youngest of his four sons.

Tickets will be honored for the new date. Refund, exchange or ticket purchase information is available here.
