“The Unicorn” neo-soul singer-songwriter-producer-director Erykah Badu is holding the second week of her interactive music experience, “Quarantine Concert Series, Apocalypse Two: The Rooms,” this evening, where viewers can choose to venture to different rooms in her house to interact in real time with others and listen to different genres of live music from her catalogue.

Working with her band, engineers and technical staff to build the technology she co-designed, Badu created the experience after a string of show cancellations in the wake of the new coronavirus. Last week’s experience included attendees interacting in polls to choose the songs the singer would perform, the outfit she would wear and what instruments musicians would play.

The official start time is 5 p.m. Pacific Time today, but doors are open now for “guests” to chat, watch videos, shop at BaduWorldMarket.com and meet the artist’s merchandise collaborators.

Admission is $2 to access the virtual venue (tickets).
