Tuesday’s roundup:

ONLINE FINDS

■ The members of the Wonders — the band from the Tom Hanks film “That Thing You Do” — will reunite for a watch party on Friday night on YouTube. Featuring the cast members who played the band, Liv Tyler and some guests, it will salute the late Adam Schlesinger, who wrote the music for the movie, and serve as a benefit for the MusiCares coronavirus relief fund. It goes off at 7 p.m. Pacific time. Here’s the YouTube page.

Real Estate has launched an “augmented reality experience” called “Quarantour,” which allows fans to choose a three-dimensional venue and watch a concert on their mobile device. Here’s the trailer. It’s was developed with Austin-based creative company CALLEN, whose founder Craig Allen says: “Collectively, we wondered if there was a way to bring a live experience to fans when no one can leave their home. Instead of having a set time when everyone must join a live stream, what if we could make this an on demand experience people could use whenever/wherever the feeling strikes? That’s what augmented reality affords us.” Here’s where to see the show.

The 1933 Group, owner of 11 establishments including Highland Park Bowl, both Bigfoot Lodges, the Sassafras Saloon and the Thirsty Crow, is taking a novel approach to fundraising: They’re selling “bonds.” Essentially gift certificates, the bonds are worth $100 in future purchases, and they’re being sold at a discount for $80. DoLA— the popular website and email newsletter that’s a virtual city guide to all things music, arts and culture — is soliciting donations for its staff. Like many outlets who depend on marketing dollars (including this site), DoLA’s revenue has plummeted to zero because of the lockdown. Their plea is simple: help us stay in business.
