Ever since she alighted in Los Angeles six years ago, Samira Winter — who makes music as Winter — has crafted a body of dream-pop that seems sprinkled with fairy dust. Her 2018 album “Ethereality” flowed like lace in a summer breeze, generating a blue-sky reverie that felt immersive, rather than fleeting.

The forthcoming album “Endless Space (Between You & I)” — her first for Bar/None Records — is Winter’s next musical thought bubble. Produced and engineered by multi-instrumentalist Ian Gibbs and mixed by Pat Jones, the album is a diaphonous latticework of guitar, Winter’s angelic vocals and even field recordings. Contemporary artists such as Melody’s Echo Chamber and Beach House come to mind, as do shoegazing forebears as My Bloody Valentine, Coceteau Twins and Slowdive.

The video for the title track, directed by Jacob Graham with an assist from Michael Vanderpool, gives the song’s fairy-tale quality a face. The song, Winter says, “is all about introspection. Having that moment with yourself, which right now a lot us are experiencing due to the quarantine.

“We shot the video around Christmas in Brooklyn and there was something magical in the air that night. It was like a scene from an old Disney movie and that energy was captured in the video. It’s so eerie to think back on it since that New York Christmas hustle/bustle feels so distant now.”

Want to chase away the pandemic blues, if for only 3 1/2 minutes? Immerse yourself in this.

The album, originally scheduled for a May release, is now coming out July 24.
