After the resounding success of this year’s kickoff of the Natural History Museum’s (NHM) annual First Fridays season, the museum quickly adapted when quarantine orders shut down large gatherings and transitioned to an online platform by the next event in April

Tonight’s program for May, “The Future of Design and Architecture,” marks the return of live music to the livestream event. La Marisoul of Santa Cecilia joins resident DJ Novena Carmel to continue the festive vibe on YouTube Live/Zoom following an interesting interview, panel discussion and quiz moderated by Ologies podcast host Alie Ward, L.A. Times journalist/author Pat Morrison and Science Communicator Dustin Growick on Zoom.

The event is free with RSVP (one per household) at this ticket link.

More information about online programming by the NHM is here.
