■ Pop duo the Bird and the Bee — Inara George and Greg Kurstin — have famously covered Hall & Oates and Van Halen, so what’s a little AC/DC between friends? In honor of the 40th anniversary of “Back in Black,” they covered “You Shook Me All Night Long” for Amazon Music. “I just love AC/DC so much,” says Inara George, one half of the indie-pop duo. “I can’t believe that ‘Back in Black’ is turning 40. And still they are just one of the best rock bands around. When Greg and I were asked to make this cover we couldn’t pass it up. And I guess that’s just our thing. Haha.” Amazon subscribers, hear it here.
■ And blues rocker Jared James Nichols hosts “AC/DC Back in Black 40th Anniversary: A Virtual Celebration” with Slash, Juanes, Dee Snider, Alice in Chains’ William DuVall, Orianthi, and members of Cage the Elephant, Trivium, Anthrax, Maná, Airbourne, Beartooth, Refused, Lamb of God, GWAR, The Runaways and more today.
DRIVE-IN SHOW
