The Autry Museum of the American West today launches a four-installment video series featuring Los Angeles musicians performing from the institution’s galleries.

“The Autry Presents: The Best of Los Angeles” goes live at 10 this morning with a performance by Dawes frontman Taylor Goldsmith. His set was filmed in the Autry’s Irene Helen Jones Parks Gallery of Art, which features exhibited works such as “Bridges” (1989) by James Doolin, as well as a basket made circa 1930 by Carrie Bethel (Northern Paiute).

The intimate sessions, which are produced by Gia Hughes and filmed by Emmy-winning Austin Straub, continue every other week through late September. Chris Pierce performs on Aug. 28, Aubrie Sellers on Sept. 10 and Gaby Moreno on Sept. 25.
