Rounding up three recent music videos for your viewing pleasure ….

DEEP SEA DIVER, “Wishing”

Following “Lights Out” and “Impossible Weight” (feat Sharon Van Etten), Deep Sea Diver has unveiled another taste from their third album “Impossible Weight,” arriving Oct. 16. Besides being another meaty rock song you’d like to take with you for a night on the town, the band released a fan-sourced video for the track, calling attention to the #SaveOurStages and #SaveLiveMusic campaigns. They encourage everyone to join the battle, first by visiting the Save Our Stages and National Independent Talent Organization websites. “I gladly add to the chorus of voices of those releasing music right now and say, alongside many others, that it is devastating not being able to properly promote an album by playing shows and touring,” bandleader Jessica Dobson says. “The question that keeps rising within us as we try to maintain our wits and creativity is, how can we still involve people — and how can we still involve these music venues that we love and need.”

MODEL CHILD, “Cuckoo”

Model Child’s campaign for his debut album “Dropout” (out Oct. 16) has been far more interesting (and certainly more fun) than most of this season’s political battles. On the heels of singles “Strawberry Bowl,” “Drain Me” and “Animal Noise,” songwriter Danny Parker lets his eccentric flag fly with “Cuckoo,” and in the video he channels a celebrity or three you might recognize. The song? Another hooky nugget that reshapes the ’90s to fit today’s pop tastes … this one sounding like Beck-meets-Eels..

LOCAL NATIVES, “Statues In The Garden (Arras)”

There are lemons, lots of lemons, in the video for Local Natives’ single “Statues in the Garden (Arras),” which is brilliantly animated by Jamie Wolfe. The tune, which name-checks the town in northern France where it was first demoed, is characteristically complex and overlaid with dreamy harmonies. The video squeezes a lot of metaphors out of our favorite citrus; bet you can’t watch it just once.
