What do slow jam grooves, sultry guitar licks, smooth R&B vocals and a burning desire all have in common? They’re prominent musical components running strong in BRIDGE’s new single, “It’s OK.”

The track “feels very raw, it all feels like a raw and honest emotion,” says Jonathan Yoni Laham (aka BRIDGE), an L.A. native, singer-songwriter and producer. “The music is all real … original and live music. The song was just an honest expression of what I felt. That’s what I love about it more than anything. Compared to everything I’ve put out lately, this is definitely a more intimate vibe.”

The single was accompanied by a music video that was directed and produced by Arrad, which stars Hannah Glasby. It showcases the couple as they cruise along in a classic Lincoln convertible, getting high off each other’s company.

“It’s OK” features musicians Lee Barbour, Mike Sivilli, John Pope and C.L. Baxter. Together, the group creates a powerfully emotional song. With a rockin’ kick drum pattern, blues rhythm and wicked cool guitar solo, “It’s OK” is seductive.

“It’s OK” is BRIDGE’s eighth release this year, a rather impressive stat considering what 2020 has wrought. The track follows “If You Ever Leave Me” and “Across the Universe.” Previously, he released two full-length albums and worked with acts like ScHoolboy Q and DVBBS.
