The new year is already in high gear — here are three new videos, two from albums that arrive in February …

RUN RIVER NORTH, “Lonely Weather”

Parting ways with Nettwerk Records in 2019 hasn’t slowed Run River North one bit — “Pretty Lies,” “Spiders,” “Hummingbird” and “One for Me” are among the singles the Valley trio has released since. “Lonely Weather” was co-written with Nick Anderson from the Wrecks, and it will join the other singles on RRN’s new album “Creatures in Your Head,” out Feb. 12. Like the video for “Hummingbird,” the “Lonely Weather” video was animated by The Fox and the Folks.

GUY BLAKESLEE, “Faces”

On the heels of the stirring title track and the follow-up single “Sometimes,” Guy Blakeslee unveils the latest from album “Postcards From the Edge,” out Feb. 5. Lael Neale (who has her own album coming out Feb. 19) made the video, and along with Rachel Fannan and Hale May, she’s also on the song as a background vocalist. “‘Faces’ was written in Paris during a rainy spell as the autumn was turning to winter,” Blakeslee says. “Every day, I would stalk the crowded streets in a bubble of isolation, not speaking the language or knowing a soul, stopping into a cathedral on my way to an empty apartment at the top of six long flights of stairs. From there I would write, or stare through the skylight while listening to the eerie silence and the Notre Dame bells ringing over the slow moving Seine. Years later, it was recorded in New Orleans, where I found myself in another self-imposed isolation state.”

DENT MAY, “Imagination”

File with “Sea Salt & Caramel” and “I Could Use a Miracle” — here’s another colorful video from Deny May’s colorful pop album, “Late Checkout,” released last year. Filmed at Castaic Lake, this one is directed by musician Jimmy Whispers on an iPhone and features Pearl & the Oysters, Kayla Monetta, Martin Isenberg and Simon The Dog.
