■ OG alt-rocker Juliana Hatfield is performing one of her albums every month and for January, she beamed from Q Division Studios  (recorded and mixed by James Bridges; video and lights by Rafi Sofer and Sachi Rodriguez) in her home state of Massachusetts to perform her fourth album, “Bed,” in its entirety. “I am heartened by your generosity and your kindness and attentiveness,” the singer-songwriter said in a note to fans, offering the performances for free with a donation link for any who can chip in to help make up for tour losses from the pandemic shutdown of live shows. She last performed in Los Angeles nearly a year ago on Jan. 27 at the Echoplex.

■ Singer-songwriter Charlie Clark (Astrid, Broken Arrow, Majestic 12, The Reindeer Section and more), who was also the longtime talent booker at Harvard & Stone in Hollywood and singer-songwriter nights at Taix, upped stakes back to his native Scotland to care for his ailing father last year. He emerged this past week with the sweet, jangly single, “Don’t Have a Cow, Man!” (officially out Feb. 5) about leaving all the uppers and downers of L.A. behind. His debut solo album “Late Night Drinking,” will be the first full-length release on Alan McGee’s rebranded label It’s Creation Baby. Clark shared his journey back home and inspirations for the album along with an acoustic version of the single for The Traveler Life.
