ONLINE FINDS:

■ Longtime L.A. tune-stirrer Jimmy Tamborello (Dntel, Sana Shenai, Postal Service, Figurine and Strictly Ballroom) shared some of his favorite albums on vinyl for Amoeba’s “What’s In My Bag? (Home Edition)” series this week. The artist released a new album in March, “The Seas Trees See” via Morr Music and Les Albums Claus. It’s the ambient electronic part one of two albums the musician is set to release this year (the second anticipated to lean more on the pop spectrum). “I thought a lot about making an album that you would find in a thrift store… like a mysterious collection of sketches that leaves a lot unanswered. It doesn’t beg for attention or have any big moments,” Tamborello shares about the album. Also catch his weekly electronica-focused radio show, “Dying Songs,” on dublab.com.

■ L.A. duo JUGGS also appeared on the latest episode of Alan McGee’s Creation Dream Machine online series, hosted by Texas Bob Juarez. They wax poetic about Neil Diamond and play a post-punked-out cover of the Weather Prophets’ single “Almost Prayed,” released originally on the Creation label in 1986.
