Coachella 2022 dates announced

Coachella announced today that the annual festival will return next spring on the weekends of April 15-17 and April 22-24.

Pre-registration on their website is required for access to advance sales of tickets releasing on Friday at 10 a.m.

Festival pass prices (plus fees and tiered per demand) range from General Admission $449 to $499, which will include day parking and visitor access to camping areas; $929-$1049 VIP passes which also include special venue viewing areas and visitor access to both car and tent camping areas; to the 4-night Safari Camping experience, $7,500-$9,500, complete with fully accommodated tents with queen beds and refrigerators, air conditioned restrooms and showers, golf cart transportation between stages, security at the camping area, private parking area, an air-conditioned lounge with breakfast, snacks, wifi and a stream of the festival and concierge services. Or go all out for the unpriced Resort package with your own yurt, stocked refrigerator, maid turn down service, private restroom and showers for your pod, and transportation to and from the airport. 

Safety protocols for Covid-19 follow State guidelines for all to wear masks at the massive crowd gathering, with attendees being either vaccinated or having tested negative for Covid-19 wtihin the last 72 hours. The festival will provide further information as health guidelines change nearer to the event dates. (Their public safety guidelines note that face coverings also protect against desert dust.)

Improvements will also be implemented to ensure the festival will be a safe space for all, with no tolerance policies for those violating a Code of Conduct, a Community Care Team throughout festival grounds, a tent space with counselors designated as a safe space, restrooms for all genders and full ADA accommodations.
