Sarah Tudzin surely earns a golden ticket to every backyard party in southern California — not to mention immediate buzz for the next Illuminati Hotties album — with the video for her new single “Pool Hopping.”

“It’s ‘Pool Hopping’ summer,” she says. “I’m so stoked to have grilled up a splashy new song and music video to soundtrack your wettest and wildest parties to date. This track is for when it’s hot, you’re crushing on someone new and your adventure senses are tingling. Come on in, the water’s fine.”

The aforementioned album is titled “Let Me Do One More,” out Oct. 1 via Tudzin’s imprint on Hopeless Records, Snack Shack Tracks. Its arrival follows Illuminati Hotties’ celebrated 2018 debut, “Kiss Yr Frenemies,” a nasty breakup with their record label that resulted in the accidental hit “Free I.H.” (a 12-song collection Tudzin didn’t call an “album”) and her returning to the material she originally intended for the IH’s second full-length.

“I love these songs and they’re a part of me and I’m proud of them,” Tudzin says.

Here, she’s doing more than “dipping a toe into the deep end,” as she proclaims on the new single. She’s making a splash.

In the video for “Pool Hopping,” director Katie Neuhof captures her many degrees of joy, in many different pools. Says Tudzin: “The songs tell a story of my gremlin-ass running around L.A., sneaking into pools at night, messing up and starting over, begging for attention for one second longer, and asking the audience to let me do one more.”
