Video: More*, ‘Green’

Rock sophisticates Kane Ritchotte and Malcolm McRae — who go by the possibly career-assassinating name More (first stylized as more, and now, perhaps worse, stylized as more*) — craft warm, psychedelic jams that would’ve been as mind-blowing on a hi-fi stereo in the 1970s as they are in today’s digital world.

The duo — both songwriters, singers, multi-instrumentalists and producers — debuted in the early weeks of the pandemic with the singles “God’s in the Details” and “Settled In,” centerpieces of their first EP, titled “1/2.” Today, they announced “2/2,” which will be out Sept. 10.

In the Keene McRae-directed video for their new single “Green,” the pair are soaring through the skies in a biplane singing, “How does it feel?” The song answers that question.

In other news, the asterisk doesn’t help when googling.
