Sample the latest singles from SASAMI, Moonchild and Eels — all of whom have new full-lengths on the horizon …

SASAMI, “Say It”

SASAMI is not messing around. The artist — Sasami Ashworth — unveiled a harder sound with “The Greatest” and “Skin a Rat,” released last fall, and now she’s piling on. “Say It,” the new single from her album “Squeeze” (out Feb. 25), is a grinding industrial track here to crush all weaklings. “‘Say It’ is a rage anthem dance track about spinning out because someone isn’t communicating with you,” Ashworth says. “I feel like when I hear the song I see a hot femme with a mystical flamethrower engulfed in emotional blue flames throwing elbows alone in an industrial dance club in outer space.” SASAMI headlines the Teragram Ballroom on April 13 (tickets).

MOONCHILD, “Tell Him” (feat. Lalah Hathaway)

Following up their collaboration with Alex Isley, L.A. trio Moonchild (Amber Navran, Andris Mattson, and Max Bryk) has released the next slab of silky-smooth soul from their album “Starfruit,” out Feb. 11. “Tell Him” features Lalah Hathaway, one of a slew of guests on the album. Moonchild headlines the Fonda Theatre on May 11 (tickets).

EELS, “Amateur Hour”

The unstoppable Mark Oliver Everett — E, if you want to save keystrokes — returns with the new single “Amateur Hour,” the follow-up to “The Magic” and the opening track on Eels’ 14th album, “Extreme Witchcraft,” out Jan. 28. Eels headline the Fonda Theatre on May 9 (tickets).
