Everything nostalgic is nostalgic again: The Just Like Heaven festival returns to Brookside at the Rose Bowl on Saturday, May 13, with a lineup topped by Yeah Yeah Yeahs, MGMT, Future Islands, M83, Empire of the Sun, Hot Chip, Caribou and the Walkmen.

Yeah Yeah Yeahs and MGMT played the inaugural Just Like Heaven in Long Beach in 2019. After being idled by the pandemic, the Goldenvoice-promoted event returned last year, moving to Pasadena for a day featuring Interpol, Modest Mouse, Franz Ferdinand and the Shins (along with Peaches, who returns for this year’s festival).

This time, MGMT will be performing their 2007 debut album “Oracular Spectacular” in its entirety. The Walkmen will appear as they reunite for the first time in a decade for a spate of spring and summer shows. M83, Ladytron and Fever Ray have new music to play. The Faint return from the 2019 JLH.

General admission tickets start at $149; VIP passes are $369; and the Clubhouse level passes are $649. They go on sale at 10 a.m. Friday. Register here for early access.
