The lineup has been announced for the 20th-anniversary Lightning in a Bottle, which returns to Buena Vista Lake in Kern County on May 24-29.
The heavyweight collection of electronic music artists features the likes of Diplo, 070 Shake, SOFI TUKKER, ZHU, Phantogram, Tobe Nwigwe, Sampa the Great, TOKiMONSTA, REZZ, the Glitch Mob, Caribou, Beats Antique, the Polish Ambassador and a slew of others.
Along with LiB’s usual ancillary activities — art installations, immersive environments, an ’80s prom, classes and workshops, yoga and panel discussions — the festival will unveil newly designed Lighting and Woogie stages and debut the Grand Artique stage, with its Wild West aesthetics and programming.
Also of special note: Ozomatli, with Chali 2na, Cut Chemist and the rest of the original ensemble, will perform their self-titled debut album in full, celebrating its 25th anniversary.
Lightning in a Bottle returned in full bloom last May after a two-year hiatus caused the COVID-19 pandemic.
