Buzz Bands LA’s FYF Fest 2016 Playlist features 53 tracks for polyglot tastes. The festival’s a week and a half away — ready … set … go.
Father John Misty will do an “FYF After Dark” show on the eve of the festival, which is close to being sold out.
Beach House’s is one of 13 concerts in the FYF After Dark series, featuring bands playing FYF Fest add-on shows. Tickets on sale Friday — Thursday if you’re an FYF Fest ticket-holder.
FYF Fest has added some notable artists for the August festival. Single-day and VIP passes have sold out, but two-day passes are still available.
Preoccupations, the Canadian quartet formerly known as Viet Cong, will release their self-titled album on Sept. 16. They visit L.A. to play FYF Fest on Aug. 28.
Kendrick Lamar, LCD Soundsystem, Tame Impala and Grace Jones head up the lineup for this year’s 13th annual FYF Fest, Aug. 27-28 at Exposition Park.
