‣ Amanda Palmer & the Grand Theft Orchestra headline the Echoplex in support of her latest album “Theatre is Evil.” That’s Palmer’s video for “The Bed Song” above.
‣ It’s an eclectic L.A. lineup upstairs at the Echo with eccentric singer-songwriter Dorian Wood, local music collective Killsonic and live contemporary dance and animation group Wife. Dorian Wood celebrates the release of his new album “Rattle Rattle Release.”
‣ Australia’s electro-pop six-piece Alpine plays their second L.A. show at the Bootleg. [Check out Alpine’s “Gasoline.”] Sea Lions support. (9:00 P.M.)
‣ Later on in the night, the Bootleg hosts another show featuring Dune Rats and Spaceships (11:00 P.M.)
‣ The Troubadour boasts a robust lineup with Marcus Foster, Sean Rowe and Ruston Kelly.
‣ Over at the Satellite, Maserati and Beware of Safety team up.
‣ And the Ross Sea Party kicks off their residency at Harvard & Stone with help from Sadie & the Blue Eyed Devils and Fellow Bohemian.
