Tuesday’s Los Angeles concerts:

Rihanna holds forth at the Forum.
Tegan and Sara do their second sold-out L.A. show in as many nights, this one at the Teragram Ballroom, in advance of the June 3 release of their new album “Love You to Death.”
The Subways are back. The U.K. rockers are visiting the U.S. for the first time in eight years, including tonight’s shows at the Troubadour.
► Fresh off his appearances at Coachella, Pete Yorn headlines the Roxy Theatre behind the new “ArrangingTime,” his first album in five year
Zachary Kibbee celebrates the release of his album “Songs From the Mud” with a date at the Satellite, joined by Great White Buffalo and Ivory DeVille.
► Cologne, Tennis System and Love Nothing play the monthly Taking Back Tuesday party, which expands to both the Echo and Echoplex.
► And there are Tuesday night residencies: Emily Gold kicks off her month at Harvard & Stone (supported by Crook and Sister Crowley); Swerve’s “mixtape residency” saltues Britpop and includes Iris and Vision; Spain whose sixth album “Carolina” is due next month, kicks off a cozy residency at downtown bar the Love Song; and Jake Troth continues his run of Tuesdays at the Hotel Café.
