If you know Andy Chase, it’s probably as a producer who’s worked with the likes of the Smashing Pumpkins, Fountains of Wayne, Juliana Hatfield, Tahiti 80 and the Trashcan Sinatras, or as a member (with his wife, singer Dominique Durand) of the band Ivy. But Chase also fronts the side project Brookville, a vehicle for his unfailingly melodic guitar pop. Brookville’s third album and best yet, “Broken Lights,” is out next week; it’ll take you to that pop place. Above, the video for “Great Mistake.”
