The Bixby Knolls celebrate the long-awaited release of their album “Near & Undear” with performance at the Echo as part of the Dead Ships’ residency. Eastern Conference Champions and the Reflections round out the lineup.
The Henry Clay People’s residency benefiting the Songs for Kids Foundation continues at the Satellite with a host of guests including Son of Stan, TS & the Past Haunts, Josh Rifkind, the World Record, Scott Ryan, Brian Whelan and Harley Cort.
‣ At the Bootleg Bar, Jhameel continues his residency (he promises a Frank Ocean cover), supported by Young Hunting and Mind the Gap at the Bootleg Bar
‣ And the Child heads up tonight’s installment of the Manimal Vinyl residency at the Echoplex, with Hammered Satin, Young Girls and Fan-Tan joining in.
‣ And Tenacious D does “Jazz” (the title of their recent Record Store Day release) at the Catalina Bar & Grill.
