A lover’s triangle ends badly in the video for the new Pixies song “Indie Cindy,” which was directed by Jesse Lamar High and Nik Harper, aka LAMAR+NIK, and stars Emily Matthews, Mark Johns and Miles Kolliopoulos. Oh, wait … new Pixies song, you say? Indeed, the long-running indie rockers, who this summer premiered a new song “Bagboy,” just announced that a new four-song EP is available. Besides “Indie Cindy,” its features the songs “Andro Boy,” “Another Toe in the Ocean” and “What Goes Boom,” and it’s available digitally and as a limited-to-5,000-copies-worldwide 10-inch vinyl. (With an “Indie Cindy” T-shirt and download, it goes for $36.) Snap judgment: “Indie Cindy” will be a lot more well-received than “Bagboy” was.
