‣ The XX visit the Hollywood Bowl as the U.K. trio wraps up touring behind their widely praised album “Coexist.” Chromatics and Austra support.
‣ Arctic Monkeys kick off a sold-out, three-show stand at the Wiltern behind their new album “AM,” their fifth full-length. Mini Mansions open.
‣ It’s Night 2 of Depeche Mode at the Staples Center.
‣ The Helio Sequence plays the Echoplex behind the release of its new album “Negotiations.” Opening, and not to be missed, are fellow Oregonians Menomena whose most recent album is titled “Moms.” Above, the video for “Plumage.”
