Tuesday must be singer-songwriter night in the city:

Jack White’s new album “Lazaretto” comes out today. And the world’s most famous former upholsterer headline the Fonda Theatre tonight, supported by Cold War Kids.
‣ Singer-songwriter Joseph Arthur visits the Troubadour behind his new album “Lou: The Songs of Lou Reed,” his interpretation of a dozen of the songwriter’s tunes. Carly Ritter opens.
‣ Rock and Roll Hall of Famers Eric Burdon & the Animals do the first of two nights at the Roxy Theatre.
Patrick Park plays the Bootleg behind his new album “Love Like Swords,” with Scott Kinnebrew and Lucy & La Mer supporting.
Jolie Holland has a new album too, her sixth, titled “Wine Dark Sea.” She kicks off a long tour tonight at the Echo, supported by Jess Williamson and Ma & God.
