Tarfest — one of L.A.’s best annual Saturdays in the park — goes off Sept. 26 at the La Brea Tar Pits Park, with Gavin Turek headlining an eclectic lineup of pop, rock, soul and tropicalia.

Turek has two recent releases that make her set highly anticipated — the singles for the IHC1NFINITY label re-launched by IHEARTCOMIX and the new collaborative album she has made with TOKiMONSTA. A song from each is repped in this “Tarfest 2015 Mixtape.”

You can also check out up-and-coming rockers the Shelters, soul siren Jessica Childress, indie-pop quintet Babes and surf-tropical-Latin ensemble Salt Petal.

All of these artists have new music in the works, so fans can expect to hear fresh songs throughout the afternoon.
