Echo Park Rising announces dates: Aug. 18-21

Echo Park Rising, the free weekend neighborhood festival featuring multiple stages of music, has announced its dates for 2016 — Aug. 18-21, conveniently situated (for music fans) the weekend before FYF Fest. It’s the sixth annual Echo Park Rising.
No lineup yet, but EPR, presented by Spaceland Presents and The Echo (music) and the Echo Park Chamber of Commerce (arts and business), will again offer craft beer gardens, vendors, food trucks and myriad other activities.
Oh, and the festival has a new logo, the work of Shepard Fairey’s creative design studio, Studio Number One:
