Echo Park Rising returns Aug. 15-18; submissions are open

It’s official: Echo Park Rising is back for a ninth year.

The neighborhood free-for-all goes off Aug. 15-18 with four days of music, art and family activities at nearly 60 Echo Park venues. New this year: A Saturday of family programming at Echo Park Lake (somehow, that scenic spot has never been used in conjunction with EPR before).

In lieu of VIP ticketing this year, the festival is doing Patreon fundraising that includes “friends with benefits” privileges and a patron-only event on opening night. Donate here.
