► Sheryl Crow previews some new music from her forthcoming album “Be Myself” — a return, she says, to her ’90s sound — at an intimate show at the Troubadour.
► Australian duo Boo Seeka (check out “Does This Last”) kick off their U.S. tour with a show at the Echo, supported by Magic Bronson and Dyan at the Echo
► Anderson .Paak & the Free Nationals do a sold-out show at the House of Blues Anaheim.
► The Desert Daze Caravan tour, led by U.K. quartet Temples and also boasting Night Beats, Deap Vally, Froth and JJUUJJUU, makes the first of this week’s three Southern California stops. Tonight, those five bands play the Glass House.
► New Beat Fund rocks the Satellite, supported by Children and New Language.
► Richie Ramone headlines the Hi Hat in support of his most recent album “Cellophane,” with Izzy Malik opening.
► AOE (Ambassadors of Earth, check out “I’m Right This Time”) play the Bootleg Theater, joined by Abjo and Tolliver.
► Railroad Earth bring their bluegrass jams to the Teragram Ballroom, supported by Tom Hamilton’s American Babies.
► Alex & Sierra do a sold-out show at the Roxy, with John.k and Ian Grey supporting.
► And Dead Sara, with a bunch of new music to share, kick off a free, three-Thursday residency at El Cid.
