Stream: WORLDS, ‘Joyrider’

In between other endeavors, Erica Driscoll (Blondfire) and Anthony Polcino (Antoine Diligent, and the guitarist in Blondfire) have continued to work on their project WORLDS, recently unveiling their first single of 2019 (and fifth overall), “Joyrider.”
The duo straddles the worlds (so to speak) of electronic and dream-pop, and here they are positively celestial, trading off on vocals and duetting as if a couple singing their allegiance to each other. We’ve said before how remarkably Driscoll’s feathery voice and Polcino’s more impassive baritone complement each other, and that combination is pretty magical here. This one’s for getting high, especially off that certain someone.
