Video: Mating Ritual, ‘The Bungalow’

Just remember: A party of one is still a party.

While the pandemic killed the in-person dance parties that would have accompanied the release of Mating Ritual’s fourth album “The Bungalow” last August, brothers Ryan and Taylor Lawhon are keeping the vibe alive.

The stylish new video for title track of the album, their fourth full-length in four years, stars Easton Blake Payne making the most of some alone time. The video was directed by Justen Hernandez and choreographed by Melissa Schade. As Ryan Lawhon says, “Life in ‘The Bungalow’ can make you feel invincible even during a pandemic lockdown.”

And, yes, the brothers have been hard at work to attain their goal of releasing five albums in five years. A week from today, they say they will start releasing new singles, with fresh music scheduled to arrive on the first Monday of every month.
