Neil Frances

ONLINE FIND

■ Breezy electropop duo Neil Frances is the featured musical guest for the Natural History Museum’s second of their First Fridays: Connected program of the year, themed “Home x Habitats.” Dr. Yewande Pearse (host of dublab’s Sound Science podcast) will emcee a program with panelists Dr. Jennifer Mullan and Evelynn Escobar, exploring the evolution of home and the changing relationship to nature after a year of pandemic quarantine life. KCRW DJ Anthony Valadez will also spin some tunes during the evening and Elle Nucci of EN Events will demonstrate a customized home cocktail recipe. Speaking of habitats, Neil Frances took time out late last year to film an almost back-to-basics (just two synths), live performance of their October single, “On the Lookout,” in their studio with New York artist Raffaella (who released her single Bardot in November). Since then, the duo has kept busy, collaborating also with Poolside, releasing a new single in January, beginning a behind-the-scenes series called “Off the Record,” and announcing that their sophomore EP, “Stay Strong Play Long” will be released on March 12 via Nettwerk Music. Get your stretches in now and try to keep up with some funky dancing tomorrow beginning 6 p.m.
