■ Nathaniel Rateliff assembled a special set of fellow musicians, string quartet and backing vocalists for NPR’s Tiny Desk (Home) Concerts series, beaming in from the Mercury Café in Denver, Colorado. His first song, “And It’s Still Alright,” the title track from his 2020 album, charts recent losses such as late friend and producer Richard Swift. He and the ensemble also perform “All Or Nothing” (from the film “Palmer”), “Redemption” and “Mavis.” The segment sported an eight-person video crew (Rett Rogers, Jasper Gray, Frank Pickell, Will Gardner, Hillary Thomas, Trevor McKenna, Christian Silberbauer and Sam Sigler) with audio engineered by Patrick Meese and James Mefford.
