Billie Eilish, who Tuesday announced that her sophomore album “Happier Than Ever” would be out July 30, today released the first single, “Your Power.”
Like her 2019 debut, “When We All Fall Asleep, Where Do We Go?,” the new album is solely the work of Eilish and her songwriter/producer brother, Finneas.
The 19-year-old herself directs the video.
“This is one of my favorite songs I’ve ever written,” Eilish says of the song. “I feel very vulnerable putting this one out because I hold it so close to my heart. This is about many different situations that we’ve all either witnessed or experienced. I hope this can inspire change. Try not to abuse your power.”
“Happier Than Ever” will be available in several iterations, including deluxe and super deluxe boxed sets, as well as in colored vinyl, cassette, photo-book and CD.
