“Wasted All Night” is the second single from “New Age Norms 3,” Cold War Kids’ ninth full-length and the last in an album trilogy they started in late 2019.

If you’re nostalgic for nights on the town and the euphoria of communal experiences, this single is a classic Cold War Kids vein-buster that will get the blood flowing.

The tune, frontman Nathan Willett says, romanticizes a night out “where people can overcome their timidity, embrace strangers and revel in the joy of life. We are still those mammals that are primitive, that want very basic things: to be accepted to live purely in the moment and express ourselves.”

Nikoli Partiyeli directed the video. “New Age Norms 3” is out Sept. 24.
