Sugarspell is the aptly named duo featuring the talents of Alexis Jordanne and Zoe Lika. They’re interested in casting affirmations and spreading a little joy, and their intoxicating first single “Eclipse,” released today, hits the mark.

The alt-R&B duo debuts in the same sonic orbit as artists such as SZA, Kehlani and Orion Sun, the gently slapping beat supporting rising verses and sweet harmonies, all of which the track, produced by Luis Rodriguez and Michael Gove, a warm-summer-night’s glow.

Adam Quinn directs the video for the song, a strong introduction to who seem to have an unforced, preternatural feel for feel-good.
