LP, the diminutive, New York-bred sing-songwriter with the huge pipes, has made a lot of noise around L.A. this year playing support gigs, festivals and under-the-radar shows at Sayers Club, as well as teasing with the occasional stellar cover. Her debut album won’t be out until 2013, but the artist born Laura Pergolizzi has released an EP, “Into the Wild: Live at East West Studios,” and, now, a fun video for the title track that riffs on “Thelma and Louise.” The ukulele-toting songstress told RollingStone.com, where it premiered today, all about it.
