Head in the Clouds, the Asian music festival that debuted in 2018, expands to two days and grows into a larger venue for its third year. No lineup yet, but the fest is Nov. 6-7 at Brookside Park at the Rose Bowl.
The music lineup for the three-month season at The Ford includes Patti Smith, Father John Misty, Moses Sumney, Rodrigo y Gabriela, Bedouine, Niia, the Marías, Vintage Trouble, Rodrigo Amarante, Kaitlyn Aurelia Smith, Gaby Moreno and more.
Jane’s Addiction, Cage the Elephant, Counting Crows and Ziggy & Stephen Marley will headline September’s BeachLife Festival in Redondo Beach, joined by the likes of Silversun Pickups, Fitz & the Tantrums, Ben Harper, Gary Clark Jr., Portugal. The Man, the Wallflowers, Save Ferris, Thievery Corporation and Phosphorescent.
Kings of Leon, Pearl Jam and Eddie Vedder headline three days of Ohana Fest at Doheny State Beach. The festival, Sept. 24-26, also features My Morning Jacket, Maggie Rogers, Spoon, Sharon Van Etten, Cold War Kids, Black Pumas and more.
