Singer-songwriter Jesse Jo Stark — maker of gauzy Americana, fashion designer and daughter of lifestyle brand Chrome Hearts partners Richard Stark and Laurie Lynn — is adding another line to her resumé: actor.

Stark co-stars in the limited series “Fracture,” starting Sept. 2 on British television Channel 4 and produced by fashion house Balmain (essentially, a vehicle for their fall campaign). It’s a tale about a young, struggling musician that’s set at the fictional La Rêve motel on the outskirts of L.A.

Stark’s music appears in the series — and it’s assembled on the four-song EP, “A Pretty Place to Fall Apart,” out Sept. 2. Included on the EP is a song written with Jesse Rutherford of the Neighbourhood.

Of the aching title track, Stark says: “Loneliness can be beautiful. You find out a lot of weird things about yourself when you’re left with only you. I wanted this tune to feel like that. With hopes of finding out and leaning into who you are and where you are in your life. Who you’re meant to be. Love is sick. And this is about all of it.”
